About The Lighthouse

Our Vision

We envision a movement of house churches multiplying throughout the Atlanta area equipping every disciple to join God in His mission.

Our Mission

The Lighthouse exists to make disciples by shining the light of Jesus for everyone, everywhere, every day.

Our
house church
model

The Lighthouse is re-imagining church through the house church model. House churches revitalize the ancient practices of the first century church for modern time. A house church is twelve or less every day Christians discipling one another by meeting once a week. We also meet as a big diverse family every Sunday for Family Worship. You’re invited to experience the fun, joy, and empowerment that is offered by participating in a house church focused on Jesus. Take a step further, when you’re ready, we teach you how to host a house church of your own!

Statement of Beliefs

we're orthodox

The Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Definition of Chalcedon define the universal standards of Christian belief. We affirm the timeless truths professed through these creeds.

we're sacramental

Baptism and Communion were instituted by Jesus as physical signs of inward and spiritual grace. God works through them in a unique manner to pour grace into our lives.

we're methodist

We are descended from the methodist revival movement of the late 18th century. We are Wesleyan in theology and a congregation of the Global Methodist Church. We crave revival on this earth, and we believe God is actively pouring His love on the world.
